ABOUT

About Me

Hello, I'm Juchan Son, a Ph.D. student in Library and Information Science at Yonsei University.

My path runs from electronic engineering through theology (M.Div., Th.M.) to library and information science. That trajectory is not accidental: it grows out of the conviction that the one-to-one comparison at the heart of traditional biblical scholarship can be pushed further with computational-linguistic methods.

I analyze large-scale ancient Greek corpora (TLG, the Perseus Digital Library, and GLAUx) with text-mining techniques to visualize the relationships between the New Testament and its contemporary literature, and to bring fresh perspectives to established interpretations.
